Wednesday Review: Paradise Pines Night Angel

I freely admit that Paisley Kirkpatrick is a friend of mine. I've watched her grow as a writer and it thrills me that she finally had her first book published. Her writing is evocative of the time, and her knowledge of the places she writes truly shines through.

Anyone who reads this blog knows my reading tastes range all over the damn place, but in my romance I like a little spice to the plot. The thing with Night Angel is that Amalie is sassy and sexy and Declan is yummy. I mean that in the truest, alpha-maley, sexiest way I possibly can. I want to gobble Declan up.

Not only that, but there's the cross between Zorro (you name the reincarnation I saw it) and Lone Ranger (ditto). One of my favorite plot devices and all too often ignored.

Over all I give this a solid 4 stars, with the highest recommendation of YOU  MUST READ because it really is that good.

I have this book on my TBR shelf in my Nook, Isabel. Can't wait to find the time to sit down and read it!

And a big congrats to Paisley on her new release!
