Yesterday I wrote how I spent an inordinate amount of time on chapter 1 of my new very dark Regency story.
In 3 days, I managed a polished words. I'm rather impressed. It's not as much as I'd have liked, but then I also did other things. Slept, ate, BBQ'ed, family time. It was all good.

Sounds like you made progress, Isabel. I polished up my opening chapters several times and now plan to not look at them again until I'm ready to start my full revision.
