September already?

I'm not prepared. It was 56 degrees when I woke up this morning. Technically it's still summer, people! I want warmth! I want sun! I want to enjoy the beach as I haven't been able to do all summer!

I'll stop whining now. :) But 56 on September 1? Ridiculous.

I've switched my 1807 Regency story from England to 1797 Switzerland. There was a lot more going on in Switzerland during the pre-Napoleonic War years than I suspected. Not that I ever gave it much thought, but it's amazing what a miserable Saturday afternoon's research will yield! Technically not the Regency Era which is 1811-1820 but the Georgian Era 1714–1830. Note the coincide in dates. I'm willing to forgo that because of the fascinating time of 1797.

So the adventures of Lady Cassandra and Vicomte Hunter Lamont have been moved to Bern.

Should be fun -- both periods have a lot of interesting overlap, too.

LOL -- I was delighted to find it cool this morning and enjoyed my walk around the lake all the more. Hee hee!

HAHA, K.A., I wanted a sweatshirt!

The more I research Switzerland during this time, the more interesting it becomes.
